The internationally successful W. Hoffmann pianofactory was founded in Berlin in 1893. In 1992 the brand W. Hoffmann was added to the Bechstein group to offer a European quality piano at a unique price. In 2007, the current factory in Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic was acquired.
