Silent systems

At Bol pianos you have a choice of different silent systems. These can be installed in almost all pianos and grand pianos as desired. We work with systems that can be installed universally. This has the great advantage that you can choose a piano without the need for a silent system. This means that you are not stuck with certain brands or models, but you can choose from almost our entire range. (both new and used pianos and grand pianos)

If necessary, we can also remove the system, which is not possible with a factory-built standard. This improves the value of your acoustic piano.

HOW DOES A SILENT SYSTEM WORKS?

A silent system can be built into an acoustic piano or grand piano. This creates possibilities in a piano that would otherwise only be possible with a digital piano. Mainly the advantage of being able to play with headphones. The system consists of a damper-rail; this ensures that, when switched on, the mechanism is still fully functional but the hammerheads no longer touch the strings. This way the piano still feels like you normally play, but the piano doesn't make sound anymore. The strings are stopped about 2 mm in front of the strings. An infrared sensor rail is also installed under the keys. This measures the speed, hardness and depth when each key is pressed. This translates this to the systems computer, which is located in the control unit. Here it is converted into a signal that you hear on the headphones. All the possibilities of touch sensitivity and pedal use are fully compatible with the silent system.

We can offer these silent systems:

- Bolan Interactive silent system

This is our newest system, which works with an infrared sensor rail, with bluetooth and additional functions and accompanying app.

- Bolan Premium silent system

Our more luxurious version of the standard system, which is equipped with a high quality sample.

- C. Bechstein Vario silent system

This is Bechstein's own designed system, which has a sample of a C. Bechstein concert grand piano. This system can only be installed on pianos and grand pianos by W. Hoffmann and C. Bechstein.

BOLAN is our own brand. We produce these silent systems ourselves, and sell them worldwide to private individuals and traders. We have been building these silent systems for years and due to the many developments in our systems we are able to compete with the well-known brands such as Yamaha, Korg and PianoDisc.
All our systems are equipped with the latest technology in the field of infrared sensors under the keys.
