Yamaha U1D piano (1967)

This model Yamaha U1 piano was built from 1959 to 1965. These older models usually have a softer, warm sound compared to the younger ones.

The Yamaha U1D originally only had 2 pedals, but during our restorations the 3rd (moderator) pedal is added to all copies. Recognizable by the curves on the top cover.

Our refurbished Yamaha pianos & grand pianos are like new instruments again. Both the inside and outside have been overhauled.
The cabinetry has been sprayed with polyester high-gloss lacquer, the keytops have been replaced, the soundboard has new lacquer, and even the inside is in new condition. Partly because of this, we give a 10-year warranty on these instruments.

The strings and hammer heads have been repaired or replaced if necessary. We also replace all felt work and cores in the mechanism as standard. All brass parts have been polished and look like new again. All pianos are equipped with a study pedal and slow-fall on the key cover.

A Yamaha Silent piano?

The Yamaha silent piano is very popular in the Netherlands. We have several silent systems in our range. We also regularly have Yamaha silent pianos with the original, factory-built Yamaha silent system. However, we usually offer a universal silent system. The big advantage of this is that you can choose a piano entirely according to your wishes, where we will then install a silent system. This means you are not limited to a limited choice of silent pianos, but you can choose from our full range.
