What is a Prodigy Player System?
Prodigy is the world's most advanced, high-resolution, computer-controlled self-playing piano system that can be installed in almost any piano and plays live piano music at the touch of a button on your iPad or phone.
How does the PianoDisc IQ self-play system work?
PianoDisc's technology includes patented Silent Drive HD 2 software and hardware.
These technologies use high-resolution electromechanical coils [solenoids] that are installed under the keys/keyboard and pedals to control their movement, speed and runtime. The end result is an advanced self-playing system, capable of bringing your piano to life on 1024 levels of expression.
Is there any Hardware visible with the Prodigy Player System?
No! Prodigy's components sit out of sight in the piano's cabinet and are completely invisible once installed, leaving the appearance of your piano untouched.
Can a Prodigy Player System be installed in my piano?
Yes, a Prodigy Player system can be installed on almost all new and used pianos and grand pianos. PianoDisc has trained and certified piano technicians, piano restorers and piano factory personnel around the world to install systems. The PianoDisc installation technique course includes installation training, troubleshooting, regulation of the mechanism after installation, maintenance and product upgrades. In addition, PianoDisc offers a follow-up course, as well as instructional videos, literature and other resources to keep the PianoDisc technician familiar with our product innovations. What music is available at the moment?
The PianoDisc music library contains thousands of songs and videos in many different styles and genres. From classical to popular and many different Jazz styles, PianoDisc has the largest music library in the world. PianoDisc also works with the thousands of Midi files available on the internet.
How do I play PianoDisc music?
The best way to play PianoDisc music is with an IQ player app, available in the App store for both Apple and Android. Once you have the app installed, the IQ app offers hundreds of songs available for free download. Additional music can be purchased from the Pianodisc.com music library and can easily be downloaded and linked into your IQ player app.
